This version of the armchair was designed in 1928 for the Villa Church at Ville-d’Avray. Its padded and upholstered seat and backrest were fashioned to meet the customer’s demand for extreme comfort. A similar padded and upholstered model was also crafted in 1928 for the art gallery of collector Raoul La Roche.
